Transportation 2024-2025
Buds (Pre-K) Private Busing for Teaneck/Bergenfield/New Milford
If you are interested in door to door private transportation, we request a commitment from you by filling in this form by February 22, 2024
As an alternative to carpooling, some parents prefer to pay for private busing to and from school for Buds children. Transportation will be provided on a small van (maximum 24 seats), with door to door pick up and drop off, for Buds children living in Teaneck/Bergenfield/New Milford. The expected cost is approximately $2,200 per child.
We will advise you by March 20 whether we have enough children signed up to provide a bus or if we will not be able to have a Buds bus for the 2024-2025 school year.
Teaneck
The Teaneck Board of Education has requested that every family fill out a separate transportation form (Form B6T) for each student who will be attending Yeshivat Noam for the school year 2024-2025 to receive transportation.
For the first time, we have created a fillable form. Please note that there are TWO different forms, based on your child's grade for next year: Kindergarten - Grade 5 and another form for Grade 6- Grade 8.
Click here to complete the fillable form for students entering K-5th Grade.

After you have entered the required information, you will be able to preview the completed document (Form B6T), and then click "sign document". Once you click "sign document", your form will be sent electronically to Yeshivat Noam and submitted to your local Board of Education.
You will receive an email from Jotform telling you that your responses have been received, and another email that your document has been signed and completed. A copy of the completed Form B6T will be attached to that email, for your records. Do NOT send the form to Yeshivat Noam. It will be electronically sent to Yeshivat Noam and all of the forms will be submitted to your local Board of Education.
Any student who will be turning five by October 1, 2024, is eligible for transportation or for "Aid in Lieu" payments.
Please complete the requested information by February 21, 2024 in order to ensure your child's place on a bus.
Fair Lawn & Elmwood Park
STEP 1. REQUIRED
The Boards of Education of your communities have requested that every family fill out a separate transportation form (Form B6T) for each student who will be attending Yeshivat Noam for the school year 2024-2025 to receive aid in lieu.

STEP 2. OPTIONAL
Please click here to sign up for private Fair Lawn busing by February 22, 2024.
We are planning ahead and assume that the Fair Lawn Board of Education, Transportation Department, will once again not be providing transportation for private schools. This means that they will NOT be providing transportation for students going to Yeshivat Noam for the 2024-2025 school year, but they will pay a per student amount of approximately, $1,165, as aid in lieu of transportation, for each student (Kindergarten - Grade 8) coming to our school.
Yeshivat Noam is organizing a private van, with door to door service for Buds through 8th grade. Please be aware that aid in lieu does not apply to Buds. Depending on the number of interested students, we may have a joint Middle School and Elementary School morning van that will get to school for the Middle School 8:00 AM arrival. At this time, we anticipate being able to only offer an Elementary School afternoon van at 3:30 PM. The cost of the private van will be approximately $2,200 per student if there are 24 students on the van, and slightly more, if there are fewer passengers.
**If there is not enough sign up we will inform you by March 20 to let you know that there will be no bus from Fair Lawn.
Bergenfield
Please click here to sign up for private transportation for 2024-2025 from Bergenfield/New Milford by February 22, 2024.
As we plan for the 2024-2025 school year, we have also started working on private transportation for your communities that do not provide free busing. At this time, we are once again working with Rainbow Transportation to provide door to door service to our students who live in Bergenfield and New Milford.
-
There will be van service that will accommodate the Early Childhood/ Elementary School schedule and additional vans that follow the Middle School schedule.
-
At this time, sign up is for round trip transportation only.
-
FAMILIES IN NEW MILFORD/BERGENFIELD WITH A BUDS CHILD: Please include your Buds child on this form if you want them to go on a K- Grade 5 van with their older sibling(s). Please DO NOT complete this form if you want your Buds child on a Buds only van.
-
Rainbow Transportation will determine the routes and pick up times based on efficiency and effectiveness of the routes, which could mean that some children who are picked up first may not be dropped off first. This should result in lesser total riding time for most of the students riding these vans.
-
If each of the vans is full, with 24 students per van, the cost per child will be approximately $2,000. If the van is not full, the cost will have to be adjusted.
